Cultivate Coffee Roasters

Our design approach for Cultivate Coffee in Fuquay-Varina, NC was to modernize the retail experience while also introducing new outdoor seating options.

By re-orienting the ordering and transaction counter toward the front, we improved patron flow and increased merchandise visibility, encouraging more point-of-purchase sales. For the dining areas, we added countertop seating and a new food service counter at the coffee bar. Custom plywood seating stations and planter boxes were incorporated to create flexible seating arrangements. At the rear of the building, a pavilion addition was envisioned to provide a covered patio — expanding outdoor seating and supporting the client’s new food program.
